HS72-F-550-MN is part of the HT72-18X(PD)-F-550 Series – one of the most recent made by GreenWatts. These panels employ cutting-edge technologies to achieve superior efficiency and reliability. This panel takes full advantage of the Passivated Emitter Rear Contact (PERC) technology that allows it to capture up to 12% more energy. All thanks to a reflective layer on the back. This design maximizes the number of photons absorbed by solar cells.

To further boost the performance, GreenWatts employs half-cut cell technology. Each of the panel’s 144 cells is only half the size of a traditional solar cell. This grants HS72-F-550-MN lower resistive losses and better shade tolerance. Given its size and weight, HS72-F-550-MN efficiency of 21.3% is quite impressive. And while conventional panels use only one side to absorb photons, bifacial modules employ both sides at the same time. Thanks to the technology, this model can be up to 30% more efficient. The innovations made the appearance of the panel as impressive as the specs. A mere 1.18″ thick, this model is completely black with a smooth surface. More power and efficiency
An already high efficiency of 21.3% is further enhanced by PERC technology. By adding a solid PID resistance and special glass lamination on top, the manufacturer ended up with an efficient and very durable model. Under standard test conditions, HS72-F-550-MN outputs 550 W of power.

Better performance at high temperatures
Excellent temperature coefficient means more energy as temperature rises. Every 1.8°F hike above 77°F will decrease your panel’s efficiency by only -0.33%.
